

Chanel - Rencontres XR Experience
Chanel Fragrance commissioned a multi-sensory XR immersive installation titled “Rencontres”, designed as a narrative virtual reality experience exploring the origins of N°5 through immersive storytelling, live staging and sensory interaction. The installation was developed primarily for press and influence activations and deployed internationally over several years. It was notably presented at Venice Immersive 2022 within the Venice Film Festival’s XR selection. The experience relied on a large-scale VR headset fleet distributed globally and required sustained operational management beyond its initial deployment phase.

The scope covered administration of a global VR headset fleet (~200 units), coordination of hardware logistics across territories, management of content versioning, deployment and push of immersive updates, monitoring installation readiness for activations, and cross-team coordination. Constraints included multi-territory deployment, regulatory limitations requiring hardware differentiation, event-based operational windows, and high brand expectations associated with a luxury immersive experience.
