

Chanel Factory 5 - Digital experience
In 2021, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the iconic Chanel N°5 fragrance, Chanel launched Factory 5 — a limited-edition collection of 17 products reinterpreting everyday objects through the lens of the fragrance.Beyond physical pop-ups and retail activation, the initiative included the creation of a fully immersive digital platform combining experiential exploration and exclusive e-commerce. The project was deployed internationally across more than 30 markets and received the Grand Prix Stratégies du Luxe 2021.

Project Scope & Constraints
The scope covered administration of a global VR headset fleet (~200 units), coordination of hardware logistics across territories, management of content versioning, deployment and push of immersive updates, monitoring installation readiness for activations, and cross-team coordination. Constraints included multi-territory deployment, regulatory limitations requiring hardware differentiation, event-based operational windows, and high brand expectations associated with a luxury immersive experience.
