The project was part of a two-year roadmap structured around several targeted initiatives focused on key areas of the website. It was not a full redesign, but a series of successive interventions within high-impact sections — notably the navigation, homepage, and consultation paths related to exhibitions, events, activities, and guided tours. All work took place within a demanding institutional framework, marked by strong constraints linked to the museum’s heritage image, legal obligations, and integration with an existing CMS. These factors required high rigour in information structuring and long-term maintainability of design choices. A distinct but complementary track addressed the Louvre Éditions website, with the goal of completely restructuring an editorial catalogue inherited from a deprecated platform, improving its readability and overall value.
